Evil Stepmothers Salad
1/3 Cup Crumbled Blue Cheese
1/2 Cup Craisins
1/2 Cup Cashew halves
12 Oz. Cooked small shelled pasta
1/2 Diced Red Onion
1 to 2 Diced Avocado’s
2 Granny Smith Apples Diced
2 Bags of Italian Lettuce or Romine Mix
Dressing :
1 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup White Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1 Cup Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Poppy seeds but I add a lot more
Assemble the salad adding the avocado’s and blue cheese last so they don’t get smashed.
Mix dressing and pour over salad and toss

Linda Fry’s Wedding Cake Icing
2 Cups Crisco or Hi Ratio Shorting
1/3 Cup Dream Whip
1/4 Cup Flour
Cream and whip until well blended then add
Measure together to equal 1/2 cup of liquid
1 tsp. Rum Flavoring
1 tsp. Clear Vanilla
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. pop corn salt ( fine grain)
Enough water to bring volume to 1/2 cup
Gradually add 2lbs of sifted powdered sugar mix until fluffy 8-10 minutes
